Are you working towards an Arts Award? Norfolk County Music Festival is an Arts Award Supporter and can help you achieve your Arts Award.

Norfolk County Music Festival is a charity that supports amateur musicians and singers on their musical journey. Young people can sing solo or in a choir, play strings, woodwind, brass, guitar or keyboards or almost any other instrument whether solo or in a duet, group, orchestra or whole class ensemble. Young people can perform with their friends and peers, with members of their family/siblings, with a teacher, or solo.

Take Part

Each March we hold the county’s biggest amateur music festival in venues across Norwich. You can perform any genre of music including (but not limited to) jazz, pop, funk, rock, musical theatre and classical, or perform your own new composition.  All ages can take part. We hold masterclasses and workshops in which you can develop your musicianship.

Everyone who enters the festival will receive personalised verbal and written advice on how they can develop.

Showcase your talents

Each year we hold a gala concert with performances from across the festival.

Through our recitals series and concert of young musicians you can explore music from a range of new and established performers. Follow us on Twitter or Facebook using @NCMFestival for latest events.
